THE CHARIOT VII.

‘Whatever you do, you need courage. Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising that tempt you to believe your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires some of the same courage that a soldier needs. Peace has its victories, but it takes brave men and women to win them.’ (Ralph Waldo Emerson)

“THE CHARIOT VII.

JÁNOS HUNYADI and NIMROD
This card is the symbol of victory, when the soul triumphs.

General interpretation:

Rivalry between two people is completely natural, fighting spirit was born along with humanity. You shall face many rivals in the course of your life. This rival may be a colleague, a relative or the one who laid her/his eyes on your loved one. You are fighting for something that is important for someone else too. Do not forget that two people who want exactly the same thing, resemble a lot. This gives you a slight advantage, because this way you can see what tactical train of thought your rival has and you can turn that to your own favor. Your boldness will be rewarded, you are under spiritual and divine protection. This card means success and victory, your tenacious work is going to bring the desired result. The card thus symbolizes a great power and draws your attention to the path towards success.

Interpretation of the reversed card:

Right now you are finding it difficult to hold on. You are already weak to fight and many times you want to give up. Maybe the fight has been going on for too long and too hard and you cannot find a way out of the situation. Rest, gather strength, believe me, if you relax you can judge better whether it is worth to keep fighting. The card’s reversed pick shows confusion, escape, unexpected travel and also refers to failure and disappointment.

Love interpretation:

This is the time for knotting your love and family ties and place them on the solid foundation. If it stands together with the Sun, the Truth and the World, it indicates that it is time for you to settle down and to legitimize your relationship. On the other hand, if it is together with the Lover, the Moon and the Fool, they warn that your current love affair is going nowhere, a breakup is expected if you do not change. If you heat two irons in the fire, you have to decide firmly now.

Work:

A fortunate period is starting, due to your persistence you can achieve greater financial security and your new investments are paying off. You can be sure that your future will be secure and balanced.

Task:

The card indicates a huge jump. You have to find new goals and carry them out successfully.

The message of the card:

It is high time for you to deal with your own spiritual and intellectual development. You have to change your usual way of thinking and you must walk your own path.”
