The rainbow signs started in Italy, while the whole country was under lockdown due to the Coronavirus. The kids paint them, write the words “Andra Tutto Bene” (translated to “everything will be okay”) to signify that one day there will be a rainbow after the storm, and then hang them in their windows so that their neighbors can see them.
We live in France, the country with the most COVID-19 cases after China, Italy and Spain. We live in Haute-Savoie, region with the one of the most cases in France. Fifty-three days ago we got the official news: we are part of the red zone. Forty-eight days ago France got completely shut down. No one can enter or leave the country anymore. Since then our life has changed drastically.
My son Dominique send a message from his home in Messery, France… because he believes: everything will be ok soon… !
